Seems like once a year someone does something STUPID and the game gets a bad rap.  Roll Eyes

They should be tied to a post and have monster ball fired at them.  Angry

it seems the pb community needs to weather at least one of these events a year. They get real old. dummies say its harmless...but hurts pb rep, terrifies the victims and physical pain on top of that.
Maybe not tie to a pole, but an exaggerated punishment would be great, just to set an example...30 community service hours and a fine or something.

These dummies really need to just act responsible and act right. If they want to act like idiots, they should have their guns taken from them. It's as simple as that. If they can't act right with one then they should not have the privilege to own one. I must say that paintball's rep has been doing good in the past but it never fails the one little bad thing that happens everyone hears about and it and they think that paintball is a bad hobby. More people need to experience the sport of paintball and learn more about it and learn that it's a really safe sport and fun sport.

It's just to easy for anyone to walk into walmart and come out with a pos marker and go cause trouble. It gives the entire paintball community a black eye. Kinda what the bud lite commercials do, they make us look like a bunch of drunk rednecks.

LOL, I'm one of those drunk rednecks.   Cheesy

Of course I DO have standards, I drink Miller Lite when I play. Cool

Well... Gents (and any incipient ladies),

We're truding down a slippery !!FLUFFYBUNNY!! here, if we advocate the "take away their guns!" approach to "solving" the problem.  Once upon a time, the British tried to get a bunch of colonists to "behave" and "act right", and we all already know where that went.  Now I'm not saying that these juvenile deliquents are akin to the great American patriots, but when we start solving problems by taking our anger out on the tools that were used, we won't get very far.  Just like when Democrats try to change gun laws to prevent violent crimes (which has been proven to not work at all), "take their markers away" won't fix these kinds of issues either.  Neither will making paintballs more expensive, or making CO2/Compressed air harder to find/fill.  The solution is making the crimes "hurt" more - making those that consider doing them reconsider it more.  If that means public shame, or something similar, then that's what we should do.
