I recently got a dye rotor and took it out to play. As soon as i started playing, i noticed that is seemed like it was falling asleep. It's not, but the upper rotor part stops spinning on it. This is a real problem. It must have failed every other shot during the game. I called dye and they said to take apart and reassemble it. I did that and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I won't know for sure if it worked or not for another month til i go out to play. The batteries were brand new. Please help me on this, becuase i really don't want to send it to dye unless there is a really bad problem.

I had that problem when I first got one.  I took it to Sheldon and once he called Dye they knew what it was right away.  It was a problem with the board.  They sent a new one and I have not had a problem since.  Love it, great feeds no jams!  Grin
Take it to Sheldon he can get it working for you.

I changed the batteries on it again and it seemed to do better but it failed again after i started shooting. I'll be taking some advice and take it to the pro shop. As of now i wouldn't reccomend the rotor over a shake and feed

Don't give up on it yet.  I have two and they are great, I personally love them.  Get it fixed and then evaluate it.  Like I said it is probably the board, when mine went right from the start I was so frustrated too.  Hang in there!
