Pre-ION Dinner

Hey everyone going to ION this year...

How about we pick Friday or Saturday night next weekend (that's the 9th or 10th) to meet somewhere in the Harrisburg/York area for dinner and chat it up a bit about Invasion of Normandy?

IF you are interested in getting together to talk about the game - list your preferred evening (Friday or Saturday) and any suggestions you have for a reasonably priced dinner option.  

I'll start - Friday Night (although Saturday is cool too) - Evergreen Chinese Buffet on the Carlisle Pike.

Either night I will be getting up the next morning at 5am so I can do either. As to where it would be nice to stay within an one hour driving range tops.

Right now it looks like we have a strong leaning toward Friday night at Evergreen.  I've sent PMs and emails to Chris and Tommy to see if they are interested as well.

We'll make a solid call on the date, time and location tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

I think you mean the 8th or 9th, not 9th or 10th. Zach can do Friday night at the Evergreen at any time (now that he's got his license), but I'll be working late in York until 7PM. Zach's not into Chinese food, but I'm sure that he'll find something to eat, or he can just talk paintball instead.

We can both make anytime Saturday, but I know there's at least one person who responded here who cannot make it Saturday. So if you want to schedule for Friday, go for it and I'll either arrive late or just have to skip it.

Yep Tommy I do mean the 8th. Ok - here's the final information on dinner Friday night (7/8).

We're meeting at Evergreen - the address is:

I will be shooting to be there between 6:00 and 6:30.   It's open seating - so if you're the first one there let them know that you need a table for a party of 8.

If anyone has any questions or concerns - just let me know.   Otherwise - I'll see everyone on Friday!

Hey Tommy - I completely missed that you can't show up until later on Friday - that's not an issue by the way, we probably won't be assembling there until toward 6:30 anyway and even so  we'll be staying for a bit (at least I will) so I hope you find your way to the restaurant when you can.  Also - there's a whole island dedicated to more homestyle fare (meat, mac & cheese, etc.) so I'm sure Zach can find something.

Get there when you can Ellie, it's fine.   Everyone should know though that some of us may need to leave by 7:15/7:30 - so keep that in mind.  It looks like right now Ellie and Tommy are our late arrivals.   Not such a big deal for you Ellie but Tommy you may want to think about it if you can't get there before 7:30.
