After having so much fun at Skirmish's Stalingrad.  I just wanted to start seeing who will be interested in going to ION this year?  This will give us time to put away some cash until July.

I was contacted by Chef Kev that we hooked up with to get the missions at the Stalingrad scenario.  He was wondering if we would be making it out this year and I told him that we went last year and loved it, and I know that some of us would probably go.  But I had no idea how many.

Preregistration needs to be early to get a spot on the allies side.

The 2011 dates for ION are July 16th and 17th.
Registration is Open 1-800-754-7647

Preregistration Price is $59.95 per person and $54.95 for  groups of 20+

Non-preregistered rate is $80 So register early.

Anyone not on the team that would like to go just send me a PM

Anybody interested in doing a few tank support missions?  It would entail going out on foot with an Allied tank crew and spotting targets for the tank gunners, as well as taking out Germans with rocket launchers before they can stop the tank.

You hear that Chris?  There'll be enough young strapping lads to carry us when we can't run anymore!  Grin

What would you guys think about purchasing a (paintball) rocket launcher for ION?
I wonder if the BOSS could get any deals on any?

Then instead of running with a tank buster team, we could be that team.
I found a War Machine Bazooka for $300.  It looks just like RAP4's but $100 less.
I've seen many cool setups at the scenarios, but they must be home made and its hard to find anyone selling such setups.
Any input on who sells what would be appreciated.

WOW,  Shocked that thing looks BAD (that's "bad" as in "really good").  I looked on the site and didn't see them say "230 feet per second", which I think is the SPPL and UWL regulation for these things.  I found a plan for building one using RAP4's "grenade launcher" as the gas source/trigger, and I could build it, but I think that's $300.00 right there anyway.  There has to be a les expensive way to do it (without blowing yourself up).

Yeah, I totally have my hate on for German tanks after Stalingrad.  I'm in, I'll haul the 2 inch nerf rockets.

For this one guys don't count me completely out. I need to see about funds currently, which is not looking great. When does early registration close and are we tenting or not?

I'll be grabbing a room at the Mahoning Inn with whoever will share one with me.  I'm looking at you Chris.. Yeah - man, I know it was just an experimental thing but it really meant something to me, the last time we roomed together...   Cool
